OSSC announces fresh date for preliminary accountant exam; details here

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) today announced the new date for the cancelled Preliminary Examination of Accountant-2022 under ULB, Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department.

“The Commission has decided to conduct the Preliminary Examination on July 30 (Sunday) which was earlier held on April 23 and cancelled on April 24, in one sitting through OMR mode in all district headquarters across the state. The detailed schedule/program of the examination shall be notified in due course,” said OSSC in a fresh notification.

Notably, the Commission canceled the preliminary examination held on April 23, 2023 (both Odia and English version) after the job aspirants alleged massive errors in question papers.

“Because of substantial errors in the printing of Odia version of the questions in the Preliminary examination for Accountant under the Housing and Urban Development department, the OSSC has decided to cancel the preliminary examination held on April 23, 2023 (both Odia and English versions),” said OSSC while cancelling the preliminary accountant exam.

The Commission in another notification said, “The Main examination of Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination is likely to be held in July 2023 or early August 2023. Exact date will be published in due course.”

The OSSC also announced the date of the Preliminary Examination of Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE)-2022 saying that the test will be held on May 14, 2023 through OMR Mode. The reporting time will begin at 8.30 AM and end at 9.30 AM while the exam will be held between 10 AM and 12.30 PM.

The candidates can download their admission letter from the official website of the Commission (www.ossc.gov.in ) from May 6 onwards.
