Koraput: As many as five passengers have sustained injuries as an Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) bus has overturned near Umuri area under Sadar Police limits on NH-26 in the Koraput district.
According to the reports, the OSRTC bus was en-route from Visakhapatnam to Umerkote. However, the bus lost its balance over the wheels and overturned near the Umuri area.
On getting the information, the local police arrived at the spot and rescued the injured patients.
All the injured have been admitted to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) for immediate medical treatment. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
