Cuttack: Orissa High Court on Monday granted conditional bail to Indian Administrative Officer (IAS) Bijay Ketan Upadhyay. He was arrested for allegedly taking bribe.
Allowing the bail to Bijay Ketan, Orissa High Court mentioned that the lower court will put the conditions.
The State Vigilance Department had arrested Bijay Ketan in Bhubaneswar on on 30 December, 2019 when he was allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 1 lakh for clearing bills. The bureaucrat was the Director of the Odisha Horticulture Department.
Further investigation of the case is going on in this matter. The vigilance department is looking into each and every aspect of the case.
