Orange alert issued in 9 Odisha districts in next three hours

Bhubaneswar: Moderate rain and thundershowers with one or two intense heavy spells of rain likely to occur in nine districts of Odisha in the next three hours.

In nowcast warning, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange warning for the districts of Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Nuapada, Bolangir, Bargarh.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather as there will be water logging in low lying areas, occasionally poor visibility and traffic disruption in urban areas. Avoid movement in affected area and do arrangement for drainage of excess water.
