Ghatgaon: One person has been killed while six others have sustained severe injury after a Mahindra TUV vehicle met with an accident near Ghatgaon in Keonjhar district of Odisha.
As per the report, the accident took place near Nudurpada chowk under Pandapada police limits when the vehicle overturned as the driver lost control over it. As a result, one person was reportedly died on the spot while six others got severely injured. The injured persons were rushed to Pandapada primary health centre and later shifted to the Head Quarter Hosptial in Keonjhar.
The deceased has been identified as Swadhin Pradhan (20), son of Golekh Pradhan of Raghunathpur village.
As per the report, a group of youth from Raghunathpur village under Harichandanpur Panchayat, were on their way to a village near Khamar in a vehicle of Harichandanpur to take part in a marriage function. However, the vehicle met with the accident.
After getting information about the accident, Pandapada Police rushed to the spot, seized the body and sent it to Keonjhar District Headquarter Hospital for post-mortem. Police also seized the vehicle. An investigating is going on.
