Jajpur: One person died and another one was seriously injured in a road mishap near Panikoili in the district today.
The deceased has been identified as Sushant Nayak while the injured has been identified as Santanu Das.
As per reports, the victims were on their way to Chandikhol on a scooty when they have a head on collision with a truck coming from opposite direction.
Police said that Nayak died on the spot while Das was immediately rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital from where he was shifted to SCB Medical College in Cuttack.
Police have started an investigation after seizing the truck.

Ms Kalinga
