Olympic Champion Neeraj Chopra touches feet of elderly man, winning millions of hearts

Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra is again winning hearts on social media. In a viral video, Neeraj Chopra is seen touching the feet of an elderly fan and asking for his blessing.

The video was shared on Twitter by the user name @ijnani. “So humble this person @Neeraj_chopra1,” Took a blessing from an elderly fan “Love you”, the user captioned the video.

The tweet has garned 12,000 likes and 1,580 retweets. The fans and Twitter users are appreciating his down-to-earth behavior, and many of them have reacted by saying he is a true role model and a true example of modesty.

The 24-year-old Olympic Champion gave a stunning performance in a brand new season. Recently, he pulled off his first top 3 finish at the renown Diamond League and created a new national record.

In his first attempt, his throw was measured at 89.94m, which is far better than his last national record of 89.30m.
Neeraj almost missed the 90-meter mark, while Grenada’s Anderson Peters won the event with a throw that measured 90.3 metres on his third attempt of the evening.

Chopra earlier defeated top-seeded Anderson Peters in the Kurotone Games in Finland, where the Indian won the gold medal. Peter also placed third at the Paavo Nurmi Games.
