Old Woman Trampled To Death By Elephant In Odisha

Dhenkanal: A woman was trampled to death by a wild tusker in Dandiri under Hindol Forest Range in Dhenkanal district of Odisha.

The deceased has been identified as Sushama Sahu of Tarkabeda village.

According to reports, the wild jumbo trampled Sushama to death when she was waiting in the bus stand to travel back to her home.

Later the elephant escaped to the nearby forest. The forest officials have rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy.
