Ola, Uber Tie Up With AAI to run cab services at 5 airports

KalingaTV News Network

Bhubaneswar:  Cab aggregators Ola and Uber today announced a tie-up with Airports Authority of India (AAI) to provide cab services in the airports at Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune and Lucknow.

This service will allow passengers to book cabs from the booking kiosks set up in the airport, doing away with the hassle of a longer waiting period and moving out of the airport to get a cab.

Uber had stated on 19th August that its business in India had doubled year on year with the pooling service and expansion to smaller cities. The tie-up with AAI is a welcome move to boost private transport services, already popular in urban India, from the airport.
