OJEE Online Counselling 2021 postponed, Check details

Bhubaneswar: The process of registration for online counselling and admission in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)/Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BDS) Courses has been postponed till further notice.

Reportedly, the online counselling was scheduled to begin from today.

A notification has been issued in this regard that stated “In super session of the previous circular (OJEE / 452 dated 25.11.2021), this is for the information of all concerned, that the process of registration for counselling and admission in MBBS / BDS Courses, that was scheduled to start from 29.11.2021, is hereby deferred till further notice.”

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) began from September 6 across the State as per the schedule and following the COVID guideline. The OJEE-2021 was conducted between September 6 and September 18, 2021.

Over the 55, 500 candidates appeared the Entrance Examination this year. The OJEE was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all the courses in CBT mode at 57 centers covering all the 30 districts of the State. Outside Odisha, exam centres have been arranged in Kolkata, Ranchi and Patna.

It is to be noted here that OJEE which was slated to be held earlier in July was postponed due to the COVID situation in the State.

The authorities OJEE added 12 new places to the places for the OJEE exam centres. The 12 new places include 9 inside the State and 3 outside the State. These exam centres were included reportedly for the convenience of the students appearing the entrance exam.
