Odisha’s Padampur Shut Down For Seven Days From Today As Covid Cases Rise

Bargarh: As the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak is on the rise under the Padampur notified area council (NAC) limits in Bargarh district, various organisations imposed shutdown for 7 days in order to curb the spread of coronavirus.

The shutdown has been imposed from April 28 till May 4.

The various organisations chaired a meeting with the Padampur Sub-collector regarding the rise of Covid cases in the town. In order to curb the spread of the coronavirus, efforts are made to save their lives and decided to impose shutdown.

All the shops will be closed, only essential commodities like medicine, grocery, milk and vegetables to keep the shops open till 9 am in the morning.

Residents under the NAC limits have to purchase the essential commodities by wearing masks and maintaining social distance. the municipal authorities have appealed the residents to strictly abide by the Covid-19 guidelines.
