Odisha’s Capital City reports 6 Coronavirus positive case on June 5

Bhubaneswar: 6 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar in the last 24 hours.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on June 5, 2022 the cases reported in the city were local contact cases. Single positive cases were reported today from Unit-1, Ghatikia, Dumduma, and Patia area of the city. 2 cases of the virus were detected from Pokhariput.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 cases have increased to 1,56,698. The recovered cases are 1,55,382. The total deceased cases are 1193. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 102. The recovered cases in BMC in last 24 hours were 3.

Odisha on Sunday reported 19 new Covid cases, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department.

The positive tally stands at 12,88,504. Reportedly, among the 19 it is to be noted that 12 patients are in quarantine and seven are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 90.
