Odisha’s 100 ITI Teachers To Receive Training In Singapore

IIT TeachersBhubaneswar: In an effort to enhance the quality of vocational training in Odisha, as many as 100 teachers of state -run ITIs will receive ‘training on leadership development’ at Institute of Technical Education (ITE) in Singapore.

An MoU in this regard was signed between Odisha Skill Development Authority (OSDA) and ITE Education Services (ITEES), Singapore on Thursday in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Odisha Skill Development Authority chairman Subroto Bagchi.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “I am particularly pleased that one hundred ITI teachers will be trained at Singapore at the ITE in 2018. My government is committed to development of human and social capital for enhancing the capabilities of our people and this partnership will go a long way in fulfilling this objective.”
