Jajpur: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge here today convicted a husband for killing his wife in May 2015.
The court sentenced the accused Kuna Singh to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for killing his wife Rajani Munda. The court also imposed a penalty of Rs 2000 and ordered additional imprisonment for six months if he fails to pay the fine.
Police said that Singh had beaten his wife to death suspecting her fidelity on May 10, 2015. The accused husband was subsequently arrested by Jajpur Road police station.
Police said that as many as 14 witnesses were examined and cross-examined during the trial.
