Balagir: A youth reportedly ended his life by jumping in front of a moving train at Kantabanji of Odisha’s Balangir district today.
The youth, who has been identified as Kailash Ketaki of Bharuakani in Belapada Block, was reportedly working at a shop in Kantabanji.
However, he committed suicide by jumping in front of the Samata Express near Kukudahad village.
While the exact reason what forced Kailash to take the drastic step is yet to be known, officials of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) have started an investigation into the matter after sending the body to the hospital for postmortem.
