Koraput: An unidentified youth was found dead at Shiva Temple premises in Gupteswar of Odisha’s Koraput district on Tuesday.
The deceased was found hanging at the caves of the famous Shiva peeth in the wee hours of today.
On being informed, Baipariguda police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it to a hospital for the autopsy test.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, police said.
It is unclear whether the death of the youth was due to suicide or murder, said a police official adding that the exact reason behind the death will be known after the post-mortem report.
