Keonjhar: Joda police today arrested a youth on charges of circulating the intimate pictures and videos of his girlfriend in social media.
The accused has been identified as Debasish Mohanta, a resident of Nandipada village under Champua police limits.
Police said that the accused was in a relationship with the victim from his school days. “He had captured several intimate videos with her while in a relationship. However he shared the videos and pictures after their breakup a few months ago,” said a police official.
Police said that the family members of the victim came to know about the videos after those went viral on social media. Subsequently, they registered a case leading to the arrest of the accused.
