Balasore: A woman reportedly slapped a youth on the road with her slipper for allegedly harassing her on Facebook. The incident took place in Balasore district of Odisha on Thursday. Video of the woman slapping the youth has gone viral on social media.
As per reports, a youth had to pay heavily for making unwanted love request to a woman on Facebook. The incident took place near Sheragada by the side of NH 16 under Khantapada Police limits where the woman was seen slapping the youth with a chappal in a video.
Sources said, a youth named Chitta Padhi from Tudigadia area under Khaira block was making repeated love requests to the said woman of Sheragad area after somehow getting her phone number. Reports said, despite objection by the woman he went on harassing her using filthy languages.
Accordingly, the woman wanted to teach the harasser a lesson and called for her to a place near Sheragada Toll gate where she slapped him with her slipper. The video was caged by somebody that later went viral.
