Bhadrak: The body of a married woman was found lying along the road at Nuapokhari village under Bhandaripokari police limits in Bhadrak district today.
The deceased has been identified as Radha Mohanty.
Sources said, some locals spotted the woman with her throat slit lying in a poll of blood along side the road and alerted the local police.
Meanwhile, Radha had gone missing from the village since Monday.
On the other hand, the husband of the woman is absconding.
Later, the Bhandaripokhari police reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.
The police have started an investigation into the matter.
