Bhubaneswar: The city-based Regional Meteorological Centre issued thunderstorm and lightning alert for ten districts of the state. Gusty wind reaching up to 30-40 km/hr is also predicted to accompany rainfall.
As per the latest bulletin of the MeT office, thunderstorm and lightning are likely to occur in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Puri, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Khordha, Nayagarh and Cuttack districts.
People of these districts have been advised to stay indoors or take shelter in other safe locations.
