Koraput: Two woman Maoist cadres of Guma area committee have surrendered before the DGP Abhay on Sunday.
The surrendered cadres have identified as Deba Padiami alias Gangi of Guma AC and Gita Padiami alias Rajita PM of AOB military platoon.
DGP Abhay, IG Operations Amitabh Thakur and Excise Director Lalit Das were on one-day visit to Koraput and Malkangiri when the duo maoists surrendered before them.
DGP Abhay welcomed the duo to the mainstream and appealed others who are still into left-wing extremism to join civil society.
