Kantabanji (Bolangir): Odisha Vigilance officials on Friday raided multiple places in connection with an allegation of possessing assets disproportionate to known sources of income against Turekela Gram panchayat officer Gobind Bhoi.
The 20-member anti-corruption agency raided at five other places along with Bhoi’s residence at Patel Colony in Kantabanji, his parental house at Dhandamunda village in Khaprakhol, his office at Muribahal block and at his son’s photo studio this morning.
Till last reports came in, the raids were underway and calculation of the value of his movable and immovable properties was yet to be completed.
