Odisha Transport Department to be completely online from next year

Bhubaneswar: All functions of the Odisha Transportation Department to be converted into only online mode from 2022, informed Transport Department Minister, Padmanabha Behera.

Reportedly, the Transport Department will bring a major reform in its functions. The driving license and vehicle permit can be obtained through online mode.

There have been allegations several times as the middle man or brokers played a major role in all such works.

Hence. the role of middlemen will largely diminish, as the department has decided to conduct all activities online which will come into effect from tomorrow that is January 1, 2022.
