Rayagada: At least 16 cattle were killed and 10 others injured after a passenger train ran over the animals at a level crossing near Jimidipeta railway station in Odisha’s Rayagada district on Monday evening.
The incident took place when theKoraput-Visakhapatnam Intercity Express was passing through the area.
Meanwhile, East Coast Railway suspended the on-duty gatekeeper in this connection.
