Odisha to witness rainfall from Feb 24: Meteorological Centre

Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre situated in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday predicted rainfall over several districts of Odisha from February 24.

The weather department said that light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of the districts of Odisha from 8.30 AM of February 24 to 8.30 AM of February 25.

Likewise, Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of North Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of South Odisha between 8.30 AM of February 25 and 8.30 AM of February 26. The Met department also has issued a Yellow Warning saying that thunderstorms with lighting are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundergarh, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore during this period of time.

The weatherman also predicted light to moderate rain or thundershower at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha from 8.30 AM of February 26 to 8.30 AM of February 27.
