Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Center in Bhubaneswar on Thursday forecasted Nor’wester rains (Kala Baishakhi) in several parts of Odisha till April 13.
The weather department informed that the intensity of Nor’wester rain will increase from April 7 and 8 in Coastal districts. Likewise, several parts of interior Odisha will receive the rain and hailstorm accompanied with gusty winds reaching a speed up to 50 to 60 kmph between April 8 and 11.
Cuttack, Khordha and Puri are among the 10 districts where rain had lashed yesterday. Bhubaneswar also witnessed rain due to which there has been marginal drop in the day temperature today.
