Odisha to witness harsher weather this summer!

Bhubaneswar: The state of Odisha is likely to witness harsher weather during this summer season, predicted the Meteorological Centre here today.

According to the weather department, the day temperature has started to go up even the month of March is yet to end. Cold wave condition prevails during the night while the fog is witnessed early morning. However, the temperature becomes hotter from 9 AM onwards.

The day temperature is also increasing gradually across the State. As the day temperature continues to be higher than the normal temperature during the months of March. It is likely to become hotter in the coming days, informed the weatherman.

As many as five places of the State recorded temperatures above 35 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours. While Angul witnessed the highest temperature of the day with 36.1 degree Celsius, Jharsuguda, Talcher, and Balangir recorded 36 degree Celsius.

Likewise, 35.6 degree Celsius was also recorded in Sambalpur today.
