Bhubaneswar: The city-based Regional Meteorological Centre today issued thunderstorm warning for as many as 15 districts of the state.
According to the latest bulletin of the meteorological centre, one or two places of Kandhamal, Angul, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Dhenkanal, Cuttack and Khurda districts are likely to witness thunderstorm, lightning and light rain between 3 pm and 6 pm today,
Likewise, the weatherman also predicted the same at one or two places in the districts of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj between 4 pm and 7 pm today.
The people of these districts, meanwhile, have been advised to avoid going outside and stay indoors during the period.
