Cuttack: The Tahsildar of Barang in Cuttack district of Odisha was intercepted by the officers of Vigilance under the Cuttack Division on Tuesday.
The Tahsildar has been identified as Bichitrananda Naik.
He was intercepted by the sleuths while he was on his way home. A sum of Rs. 1,07,000 was recovered from his possession.
He could not satisfactorily explain the source of the money. Further details are awaited.
