Odisha: Summative Assessment of Class IX from October 22

Cuttack: The Summative Assessment for Class IX in Odisha will commence from November 22, intimated the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Thursday.

The examination will be held in two sittings. On the first day on October 22 students will appear for the Second Language (SL) and in the second sitting they will appear for Social Science (SSH).

On October 23, in the first sitting students will appear for the First Language (FL) and in the second sitting Mathematics (MTH) paper is there.

On October 24, the students will appear for the Third Language (TL) in the first sitting and General Science (GSC) in the second sitting.

The assessment will be of a total of 40 marks which will include subjective questions of 20 marks and objective questions of 20 marks.

The exam will be held in the original school of the student while the evaluation will be conducted in a different school.

The evaluation will start from October 23 which will continue till October 30.

The exam schedule for the Summative Assessment for Class X will be announced soon. The exam will be held in between November end and December first, said the Board.
