Odisha State Cabinet Meeting to be held today

Bhubaneswar: The meeting of the State Cabinet is scheduled to be held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to discuss matters regarding the winter session of Odisha Legislative Assembly.

The winter session of the Legislative Assembly is set to take place on December 1.

The first supplementary budget of the current financial year will be tabled by the finance minister. Official business will be transacted from December 2 to 6. Private members’ business (bills and resolutions) will be tabled on December 3.

Discussion on demand for grants for the first supplementary statement of expenditure for 2021-22 will be held from December 7, followed by discussion and approval of the Appropriation Bill. The house will also meet on all days excluding Sundays and December 25 (Christmas).

After this meeting, the all party meeting has been slated to be held in Odisha Legislative Assembly (OLA) on November 29. The cabinet is expected to make 21 important proposals.
