Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly that has been scheduled to commence from September 1, 2021, Speaker Surya Narayan Patro on Friday has called for an All Party Meet on August 27. He has reportedly sought cooperation for smooth running of the House during the upcoming session.
As per reports, the Monsoon Session of Odisha Assembly will begin from Sept 1. As per the provisional calendar of the OLA the monsoon session will continue till September 9.
The Assembly will not meet on September 5, Sunday while September 3 has been reserved for private Members’ business (Bills and Resolution). The other days are marked for official business.
It is expected that the session may earn ruckus as there are many important points which need to be discussed in the house in this session.
