Bhubaneswar: Congress leader Smrutirekha Pahi has quit party alleging non-cooperation by party in some matters. She had contested in Congress ticket for Jajpur district’s Dharmasala MLA seat in the 2019 General election.
As per reports, Pahi sent her resignation to Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Niranjan Patnaik on Tuesday. As per her resignation letter, she resigned as the party did not support her in a certain matter.
In this matter Congress has alleged that since she has joined hands with the ruling BJD party, she has quit.
