New Delhi: In a bid to transform education sector in the state, the School & Mass Education (SME) Department of Odisha government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institution for Transforming India, also called NITI Aayog, here on Saturday.
According to reports, Odisha SME Department Secretary Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra inked the agreement with the NITI Aayog officials under SATH (Sustainable Action for Transformation Human Capital), program being implemented by NITI Aayog along with McKinsey & Company, IPE Global Consortium, who were selected through competitive bidding.
The vision of SATH is to initiate transformation in the education and health sectors. The program addresses the need expressed by many states for technical support from NITI Aayog.
