Odisha sees spike in Covid cases, Tally rises to 10,49,108

Bhubaneswar: A total of 228 Covid-19 positive cases including 35 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours.

With 228 positives, the tally rose to 10,49,108 informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Tuesday.

Among the 228 positives, 134 are quarantine cases and 94 are local contacts. However, 221 patients recovered in the State taking the total number of 10,38,306. Currently, the active cases stands at 2338.

Meanwhile, India reported 6,990 new cases, 190 deaths and 10,116 recoveries in the last 24 hours. Currently, the active caseload in the country stands at 1,00,543, informed Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The tally of Covid vaccination across the country stands at 1,23,25,02,767.
