Cuttack: Odisha secured its second straight win in the on-going Ranji trophy after defeating Services by an innings and 31 runs at DRIEMS Ground in the city. Odisha has earlier defeated Chhattisgarh by an innings and 3 runs.
Services which has managed to score 81 runs for the loss of three wickets at the end of day three was bundled out on 238. For Odisha Rajesh Mohanty and Abhishek Raut took three wickets each while Debabrata Pradhan scalped two wickets.
Earlier Odisha has put on 540 runs after a splendid batting performance by Debasish Samantray who scored 195 and lower order batsmen. Samantray was adjudged as the man of the match. Odisha will play its next match against Uttarakhand on December 25.
