Khordha: School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash today made a surprise visit to various schools in Jatni area.
The minister during his visit to the schools found two teachers of remaining absent from duty for which the concerned teachers have been served with show-cause notices. Besides notices were also served to five others for dereliction in duty. The minister has also directed to stop salaries of three persons.
During the visit Dash interacted with the students and teachers as well to find out specific problems. The minister also took stock of midday meal programme at the schools.
