Bhubaneswar: The number of accidents and deaths related to road mishaps have dropped more than 15% in the first two months, January and February, in 2022 in Odisha.
Reportedly, the decline is recorded by 15.34% in accidents and 10.33% in fatalities during these two months as compared to the same period in 2021, informed the I&PR Department (Information and Public Relations).
Accidents are less by 327 and deaths by 99, added the Department.
“This has been achieved due to strict enforcement measures and with great support from DGP,” it further added.
