Odisha reports above 400 Covid cases for second consecutive day, Active Tally crosses 2K mark

Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Thursday witnessed an increase in daily Covid cases across different districts of the State and recorded above 400 positives for the second consecutive day.

According to the data shared by the Information & Public Relations Department, as many as 428 new positives were reported in 23 districts and the State Pool. A total of 401 persons were infected with the virus on Wednesday.

There are 56 children in the 0-18 age group. Out of the total 428 cases, 251 are quarantine cases while the rest 177 are local contacts. Currently, there are 2235 active cases in the State.
