Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Wednesday recorded a rise in daily Covid cases with 45 new positives in different districts of the State in the last 24 hours.
According to the data shared by the Information & Public Relations Department, as many as 45 new Covid positive cases were reported in nine districts and the State Pool. A total of 53 persons were infected with the virus on Tuesday.
There are only three children in the 0-18 age group. Out of the total 45 cases, 27 are quarantine cases while the rest 18 are local contacts. Currently, there are 317 active cases in the State.
Khordha only reports 18 Covid positives today followed by State Pool, and Balasore with 4, and 3 positives respectively. Likewise, Dhenkanal and Jajpur recorded two Covid positives each while Angul, Mayurbhanj, Puri, and Sambalpur recorded one positive case each.
