Odisha Reports 3 More COVID-19 Cases, Tally Stands At 128

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported three more COVID-19 positive cases on Thursday, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department in its website.

With these new cases, the total coronavirus cases in the State touched 128.

As per the data shared by the Health department, all the three persons who were tested positive with COVID-19 are from Jajpur district.

The Information & Public Relations Department of the State government informed that the three new positive cases include a 18-year-old female and 56-year-old male of Katikata containment area in Jajpur. Both of them had come in contact with a positive case and had returned from West Bengal recently.

Likewise, the third person who was tested positive today is a 65-year-old male and had has Kolkata link. However, he was asymptomatic and is currently under quarantine.

Earlier on Tuesday six persons were tested positive for COVID. Out of six cases, three were from Balasore district, while the rest three were from Keonjhar, Jharsuguda and Deogarh districts.
