Odisha reports 21 Covid Deaths, 12 from Sundargarh

Bhubaneswar: As many as 21 more patients have succumbed to Covid in Odisha, informed State Health and Welfare Department on Thursday taking the death toll to 8,818.

According to the details provided by H&FW Department, a total of 12 patients have died due to coronavirus from Sundargarh.

Details of cases confirmed as death due to Covid-19, after due completion of the death audit process:

1.A 72 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Hypertension & Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

2.A 72 years old Male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

3.A 76 years old Male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

4.A 75 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypertension, Bronchial Asthma, Parkinsonism, Old Ischemic Stroke.

5.A 65 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease.

6.A 65 years old Male of Ganjam District.

7.A 82 years old Male of Ganjam District who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension.

8.A 10 Months old Male child of Kandhamal District.

9.A 71 years old Male of Sambalpur District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hepatitis B, Chronic Kidney Disease.

10.A 54 years old Female of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Chronic Liver Disease.

11.A 45 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

12.A 67 years old Female of Sundargarh District.

13.A 47 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus & Chronic Liver Disease.

14.A 74 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease & Parkinson.

15.A 58 years old Female of Sundargarh District.

16.A 28 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Seizure Disorder.

17.A 75 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus & Chronic Kidney Disease.

18.A 29 years old Female of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

19.A 23 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Chronic Liver Disease.

20.A 27 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

21.A 36 years old Female of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease & Anemia.

The H&FW Department has further informed that this list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
