Odisha reports 10 more Covid Deaths: 4 from Khordha including 3 from Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: As many as 10 more Covid patients have succumbed to the deadly disease in Odisha, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department on Wednesday.

The death toll in the State rises to 8,540 following the report of patients who succumbed to the virus. Out of the 10 Covid deaths, four deaths have been reported from Khordha district including three from Bhubaneswar.

Details of cases confirmed as death due to Covid-19, after due completion of the death audit process:

1.A 57 years old Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Post Renal Transplant On Immunosuppressant, Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

2.A 68 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Hypothyroidism.

3.A 59 years old Male of Bhubaneswar.

4.A 91 years old Female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Bronchial Asthma, Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension.

5.A 69 years old Male of Kandhamal District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

6.A 56 years old Female of Khordha District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

7.A 35 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Tuberculosis.

8.A 48 years old Female of Sundargarh District.

9.A 35 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Chronic Liver Disease.

10.A 55 years old Female of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease.

The Health Department has also mentioned that the list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
