Odisha registers 218 Covid recovery cases, tally rises to 10,40,139

Bhubaneswar: The Health & Family Welfare Department today informed that 218 more Covid patients recovered in Odisha taking the recovery tally to 10,40,139.

According to the data shared by the health department, the highest number of recoveries was reported from Khurda district (90) followed by Cuttack (30) district.

  • 30 from Sambalpur
  • 25 from Sundargarh
  • 9 from Mayurbhanj
  • 7 from Jajapur
  • 6 from Cuttack
  • 5 from Balasore
  • 4 from Bargarh
  • 4 from Jharsuguda
  • 4 from Kendrapara
  • 3 from Nayagarh
  • 2 from Bhadrak
  • 2 from Ganjam
  • 2 from Jagatsinghpur
  • 2 from Rayagada
  • 1 from Keonjhar
  • 1 from Koraput
  • 21 from State Pool

Earlier today, the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department informed that a total of 151 Covid positive cases including 12 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in the State in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 10,50,505.

Among the 151 positives, 89 are quarantine cases and 62 are local contacts. However, 248 patients recovered in the State taking the total number of 10,39,921. Currently, there are a total of 2107 active cases.
