Odisha Red Cross Unit traces missing man from Jharkhand

Bhubaneswar: A Jharkhand man who had reportedly gone missing for the last 1.5 months was traced with the help of Odisha unit of Red Cross Society of India.  The man has been identified as Bahadur Rakhya Singh a native of Jharkhand.

According to sources, Vishakhapatnam RPF staffs rescued Singh in an unconscious condition and admitted him at Vishakhapatnam Hospital.

Later, Vishakhapatnam government informed about Singh to Odisha unit of Red Cross Society of India. Officials of Red Cross Society of India managed to trace the family members of Singh and informed them about him, informed sources.

On getting call from Red Cross officials Barsha (wife of Singh) came to Odisha and met her husband.

The couple met Governor Ganeshi Lal and expressed their gratitude to Odisha government and Red Cross unit for their co-operation.

Sources said Singh is supposed to be mentally unstable and had gone missing from his home town since 1.5 months.
