Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Tuesday recorded an increase in daily Covid cases across different districts of the State in the last 24 hours.
According to the data shared by the Information & Public Relations Department, as many as 334 new positives were reported in 16 districts and the State Pool. A total of 245 persons were infected with the virus on Monday.
There are 53 children in the 0-18 age group. Out of the total 334 cases, 195 are quarantine cases while the rest 139 are local contacts. Currently, there are 1695 active cases in the State.
Khordha alone reports 187 Covid positives today followed by Cuttack, State Pool, Sambalpur, Jagatsinghpur, and Nuapada with 70, 37, 7, 6, and 4 positives respectively. Likewise, Kalahandi, Sundergarh, Koraput recorded three positives each. Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, and, Puri recorded two Covid cases each. Similarly, Rayagada and Sonepur recorded one positive case each.
