Odisha reached a new milestone,administers over 4 lakh Covid vaccine doses in single day

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has reached a new milestone in Covid-19 vaccination by administering over 4 lakh doses in a single day on Monday.

According to the Health & Family Welfare Department, a total of 4,16,454 doses were administered.

The department congratulated all the healthcare workers of the state for making it possible.

Notably, the state government has revised the daily vaccination target to 4 lakh to expedite the administration of COVID-19 vaccines to all eligible beneficiaries.

Taking to Twitter, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said, Glad to share that #Odishas successful mass #COVID19vaccination drive has achieved yet another milestone. With the hard work and commitment of our healthcare professionals, the State has administered more than 4 lakh jabs in a single day.
