Koraput: Odisha Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Prafulla Mallick today visited Koraput district and reviewed projects at Sindhiput ghat.
According to reports, a high-level bridge will be constructed at the Sindhiput ghat of Kolab Dam. The State government would spend Rs 67 crore for the project.
While speaking on this occasion, the Minister said that the people of four gram panchayats in Lamtaput block would get benefit once the high-level bridge is constructed. Besides, around 25,000 people will not get marooned after this project.
The road would link the people of the four gram panchayats with the district headquarters town.
Koraput MLA Raghu Ram Padal and other concerned officials were present during the Minister’s visit.
