Odisha: Popular Jatra artist Daitari Panda meets veteran Nityananda in hospital
Cuttack: Odisha’s popular Jatra artist Daitari Panda on Thursday met another veteran artist of the Jatra world in Odisha, Nityananda Padhi at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Nityananda has been admitted for treatment following multiple health complains.
As per reports, Jatra Tiger Daitari Panda met Nityananda at the Cardiology Department of SCB Medical and inquired about his health condition. He also wished Padhi early recovery.
Nityananda Padhi is a senior Jatra artist in Odisha who has acted in more than 200 melodramas in the last 40 years of his career. He hails from Bhadrak district of Odisha.
Daitari Panda has requested the Culture Department of Odisha to provide financial assistance to the ailing senior Jatra actor Padhi.
