Odisha Police Constable Under Vigilance Scanner, Raid Underway

Baripada: Vigilance sleuths conducted raids on the houses and property of a police constable  who is posted at Mayurbhanj SP office.

The police constable has been identified as Nihar Ranjan Dandapat.

According to reports, the raid was conducted due to alleged possession of disproportionate assets to his known sources of income.

According to the sources, 35 officers launched simultaneous raids at 6 of his houses.

The raid is underway.

The exact amount of disproportionate asset would be declared after the completion of the raid, said an official.
